OUR CLIENTS SAY

“Working together with Nordic Wind Technology on these Suzlon retrofit solutions, has been a success. Not only have we gained access to run and operate the turbines ourselves; we have also improved the performance of the turbines. Working with Nordic Wind Technology is a pleasure, they always support us and have a great understanding of turbines.”

“Having a large and diverse portfolio of wind turbines at different wind farms, EnergieKontor is committed to further developments
concerning technology and efficiency.
Focusing on our Senvion fleet, we want to explore the opportunity to become more self-driven and see if we can optimize the power performance.
We have chosen Nordic Wind Technology to update one of our Senvion MM-82 turbines.
From the initial phase of investigation to installation, test and full production,
we have been very satisfied and safe working with Nordic Wind Technology.”

“We decided to upgrade our Suzlon S88 turbines with the controller software from Nordic Wind Technology primarily to become more independent, but also to have more transparency and access to data and better access to the Service Tool.
Our Suzlon S88 turbines are equipped with converters which are a special configuration; however, Nordic Wind Technology was able to upgrade the controller to work with the converter.  They have also supported Patriot Renewables with other turbine-related challenges along the way and have been a wonderful resource for us. I’ve been impressed with their knowledge, experience, helpfulness, and reliability.
We are very satisfied with the solution and performance delivered from Nordic Wind Technology.”

Nordic Wind Technology has entered a cooperation with Renom Energy Services, part of Sanjay Ghodawat Group to Retrofit 8 Suzlon S-66 turbines in India.

A turbine controller software developed by Nordic Wind Technology has been installed in 2021 and will provide a completely new access & control environment for the S-66 turbines. This will allow full access and monitoring of the turbine data to reduce maintenance costs, optimize operations, and increase profitability.

Nordic Wind Technology has introduced the turbine controller software in India by providing the same to Renom Energy Services, one of the biggest ISP in India which services multi-brand wind turbines. The turbine controller software ensures that Renom’s service technicians can access the wind turbine controller to perform the scheduled service and maintenance.

As the wind industry progresses at a rapid pace, it is critical that older turbines are equipped to meet today’s control and performance standards. Retrofitting older turbines with new and field-proven control technology can effectively increase the turbine’s annual energy production, heighten the availability, and provide modern remote access. In combination with renewed access to spare parts, the turbine’s lifetime can be extended with better profitability.

“With our software systems, we are able to retrofit turbines based on Bachmann controllers. We deliver a retrofit upgrade to current industry standard with a modern control and surveillance availability with full access to all data, enabling remote access, improved surveillance, and servicing of the turbines,” says Steffen Larsson, CTO at Nordic Wind Technology.

With a mission to deliver independent OEM controller software and make wind power more efficient and competitive, Nordic Wind Technology is determined to develop innovative retrofit solutions for the aftermarket. Having an already well-proven Suzlon S-88 controller software retrofit solution, there was a good match between Renom’s needs and Nordic Wind Technology’s solution.

“Working together with Nordic Wind Technology on this project has been a success. Not only have we gained access to run and operate the turbines; we have also improved the performance of the turbines. Working with Nordic Wind Technology is a pleasure, they always support us and have a great understanding of turbines.”
