Senvion MM92 wind turbines are part of the MM series – Senvion’s bestseller series. MM92 wind turbines have a large rotor diameter, making them ideal for locations with medium to low wind speed regimes. They feature a double-fed induction generator, a DC pitch system, and a frequency converter and have a nominal power output of 2,050 kW.
BACHMANN SOLUTION
All of the turbines in the MM series from Senvion are installed with a Bachmann controller. The NWT retrofit solution for Senvion MM92 turbines updates the Bachmann controller platform with new software without interfering with the hardware.
Unlike many other retrofit solutions, our software update leaves all wires, sensors, etc., untouched. Likewise, the pitch and converter system will remain as they were before the update, i.e., they will still use the commissioned Senvion parameter configurations.
