PARK CONTROLLER
POWER PARK CONTROLLER FOR WIND TURBINES & HYBRID POWER PLANTS
In recent years, wind power has seen significant growth, and recently, a combination of wind, solar, and batteries called hybrid power plants is emerging. As the demand for green power plants increases, wind, solar, and hybrid parks worldwide grow larger and larger. Hence, the challenges of ensuring optimal power balance and compliance with grid codes also increase.
Connecting power plants to the national grid requires that the power plants are grid compliant and that the grid operator can control the power, active and reactive, coming from the power plant.
To meet the new requirements of modern wind farms and hybrid power plants and put owners and operators in control of their wind turbines, Nordic Wind Technology has developed a Power Park Controller (PPC) offering advanced and flexible control of the power plant.
The Nordic Wind Technology Power Park Controller is a solution that is 1:1 compatible with the native Park Controller, enabling the owner or operator to take full control of the entire wind farm and maximize energy production.

The NWT-PPC solution supports all Wind turbines installed with an NWT-Software Controller. Furthermore, the NWT-PPC has been developed to support Hybrid Power Plants, e.g., Wind turbines in combination with Solar and Batteries.
